Information technology is slowly but surely taking root in most African Countries. In Africa today many people are beginning to adapt the use of various applications to communicate and net work with people of other areas. It is common practice to see people use mobile phones,computers and the internet even in very remote ares.

Teachers have not remained behind either. They have revolutionarised their teaching through the use of computer applications in form of e.book/e.libraries,e.learning and other social net works like blogs and twitter. In this way teaching and learning has become more interesting and fun.

Though this sounds rosy there are many hiccups with this modern technology ; connectivity is a problem so is power interruptions and failure and lack of infrustructure which makes information technology a night mare.

It is every ones prayer that one day things will improve so that every one gets to enjoy the advantages of this modern technology
